This Privacy Policy explains how Crypto Valley Partners AG ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you use the website at crypto-license.io ("the Site"). We are based at Aegeristrasse 5, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, and you can reach us at info@crypto-license.io. We handle personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In plain English (non-binding summary): we collect only what you send us through the contact form, plus privacy-friendly, cookie-free usage statistics. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we self-host our fonts so your visit is not shared with a third-party font network. You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the data we hold about you at any time.

What data we collect

We collect two kinds of data, and no more than we need.

Data you send us through the contact form. When you submit an enquiry, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, and the optional company name and target jurisdiction if you fill those fields. We use this only to read and answer your enquiry.

Technical and usage data. Our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address and browser type for security and to deliver the Site. We also measure aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country) through a cookie-free analytics tool that does not identify you individually and does not build a profile of you.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special-category data (such as health, political, or biometric information) or sensitive financial credentials through the contact form.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

We use the contact-form data to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on the advisory service you asked about. Under the GDPR, the legal basis is the performance of steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Under the FADP, we process this data to fulfil the purpose for which you provided it.

We use technical and usage data for the legitimate interests of keeping the Site secure, preventing abuse, and understanding in aggregate how the Site is used so we can improve it.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers ("processors") who handle data on our behalf under contract:

• Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, and the anti-spam check on our contact form. It processes technical data such as your IP address to serve and protect the Site.
• Resend delivers contact-form submissions to us by email.
• Telegram delivers a copy of contact-form submissions to our internal notification channel so we can respond quickly.

Some of these providers operate outside Switzerland and the EEA. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses and equivalent data-protection commitments. We disclose personal data to public authorities only where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

The Site does not use advertising or marketing cookies. Our analytics tool is cookie-free and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to run the anti-spam check and protect the Site from automated abuse. How long we keep your data

We keep contact-form enquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up, and then delete them unless a longer period is required by law (for example, to comply with accounting or record-keeping obligations). Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics are kept without a fixed link to any individual.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct data that is wrong, and to delete data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep. Under the GDPR you may also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, and request a copy of the data you gave us in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@crypto-license.io. We will respond within the time limits set by the FADP and the GDPR.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or, if you are in the EEA, with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including transport encryption (HTTPS) across the Site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
